Arochukwu TV discovery team sailing to the Island of ghosts. THE BOOK OF ARO KINGS (focus: EZE ALUU AKUMA NNAUBI) AROCHUKWU TV has discovered an Island in the creeks of Amasu where elders tell of a group of slaves who mysteriously disappeared during a festival of slave massacre (ikwo-icha / a funeral ritual sacrifice reserved only for prominent and highly respected Amadis during the slave trade Era).
Legend has it that the Island and the slaves in it were property of a powerful Amadi (name withheld {contact Arochukwu TV archive for more info}). He was so powerful that other powerful Aro slave dealers of his contemporary held him at high esteem. though some coveted his massive wealth. At the event of his death, greed, jealousy and covetousness prompted his brothers and business rivals to arrive at the conclusion of sacrificing all his slaves for he had no son to bequeath his entire estate. As a result, all his slaves were marked for "beheading". However, it was least imagined that anyone of the slaves could escape the supernaturally secured prisons. To the amazement of all, there was one Island in the Creeks that no slave was found at the time when captivators arrived. That created fear in the entire Aro kingdom.

Many conceived that the slaves were eaten up by a very powerful slave God that the slave master assigned to guard the Island, while others believed that the slaves heard of the looming doom and decided to drown themselves.
However, the fact that no dead bodies were discovered in the river proved wrong the second notion. A lot of people held onto the first and passed down the astonishing legend.
God Bless Arochukwu TV!
